Yellow Tangs need to have a variety of foods ready for them to eat, mainly consisting of algae, however, occasional meaty foods are okay. They also love to swim so they need a fairly large aquarium, at least six feet in length.
Yellow tangs can sometimes coexist with other tangs but beware that problems can occur. All tangs are somewhat aggressive and care should be taken when trying to house multiple in the same system.
